and a king size bed. With eleven foot ceilings.
It has it's own bathroom with jacuzzi and of course
cable TV. |

|
Front Door
Foyer looking toward the front door. Imagine, if you
can all of the people who came thru this door. A soon to be father
looking for Dr. Cox (who built this house around 1850) to deliver his
baby or maybe Dr. Cox's grandfather who was a famous Indian fighter or
perhaps since Dr. Cox was a Southern gentleman maybe the famous
Confederate General John Hunt Morgan. |
 |
Downstairs Foyer
looking from the front door. It has a beautiful
poplar floor that is original to the house and an unusual feature in
the stairs. These stairs are 3/4 self-supporting, something you won't
find in many of today's houses. It too has eleven ft. ceilings. |

|
Blue Bedroom
This room has a lovely four poster queen size bed and a very spacious
bathroom. It also has a library-reading room and of course the eleven
foot ceiling. |
 |
Kitchen It has a fireplace built of bricks
made here on the farm at the time of construction of the house. It is
very cozy. |
 |
Dining Room
It seats twelve at the spacious Mahogany table. This
would have been the room where the guests of olden days would have
also eaten. Take a look around and see if you see any of the ghosts of
former guests here while you are having breakfast. |
 |
Sunroom It is very sunny and it's perfect to
read a book in while you are listening to the fountain or on a cold
winter's day to just sit back and feel the sun on your face. |
